I love reading about food. One of my favorite moments of the day is climbing into bed and getting lost in food articles online. I read blogs, research methods, and look for new recipes. When I find something that looks interesting, I print it, make notes, and file the recipe in a folder. As my collection of recipes grew, I decided to share my weekly meal plans with all of you.
Most people have about 4-5 recipes in their go to dinner rotation. Nuggets and pasta are awesome, don’t get me wrong; they have their place for both busy parents and fussy kids. With your staples firmly in place, I wanted to share new ideas that would get you excited about cooking for your family. The recipes are straight forward, family friendly, and always delicious.
This week is a great example of things I found online that are perfect weeknight ideas. Everything is recognizable to your kids (chicken, noodles, salmon, steak) and get your family excited about dinner.
Marinated grilled chicken, take out style sesame noodles, salmon with bread crumb topping, and classic flank steak are all on deck.
Good luck with your dinner plans this week and let me know how it goes!
Enjoy!
