Squeeze Bottles

One of my favorite kitchen “gadgets” is easy to find, totally affordable, and something I reach for every day. Out of all the fancy professional equipment I trained on during culinary school, it’s something as simple as a squeeze bottle that I thought was life changing in the kitchen. Squeeze bottles makes the work easier, more efficient, and cleaner.

Squeeze bottles are one of the best things I use in my kitchen on a daily basis. Splash of sauce on a plate? No problem. Coat a pan with oil? I’m on it. Transport salad dressing to a party? Done. You get the picture. The options for squeeze bottles are endless.

Squeeze bottles are great for controlling how much of something you use. There are so many times I need to lightly coat a pan with oil and end up with a pool of oil in the pan. Why does oil only come in those giant, unwieldy bottles anyway? These squeeze bottles are easy to grab and give you a lot more control over whatever it is you are using.

My kids love using these bottles for maple syrup. The bottles make it so much easier to drizzle syrup on pancakes and waffles. It’s a total bummer to finally make the perfect stack of pancakes only to have them flooded with too much syrup. With a squeeze bottle even the kids can easily manage how much syrup they distribute onto the plate.

Use them for chocolate sauce, oil, salad dressing, syrup, or whatever else you can think of in your kitchen.

It’s a great little pro-tip for the home cook.

Enjoy!
