I’m having a moment with Amanda Tisch. Specifically, her striking line of modern tabletop accessories called Tisch New York. Her colorful, round placemats and coasters are totally gorgeous. Her designs are made of wood and backed with cork which makes them easy to wipe down and clean. Tisch New York placemats make every table look pulled together in the most perfect way. I’m crazy about her inspired designs and want my whole life to look as effortlessly chic as one of her enviable table settings.
It’s no surprise that Tisch’s eye for design is strong. She spent years on the editorial side of magazines as a fashion editor for Harper’s Bazaar and Town & Country. When she moved to California in 2014, she served as a design editor at C Magazine. In 2015, she launched Tisch New York.
I was lucky enough to have a fun Q & A with Tisch. Check out what she has to say about her line, life on the left coast, and what’s next for Tisch New York.
Enjoy!
