Sugar Snap Peas with Sesame

Ingredients
  • 1 pound sugar snap peas
  • Sesame oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Black sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. Boil large pot of salted water.
  2. Prepare bowl of ice water.
  3. Trim ends and remove string from each pod.
  4. Blanch pods in boiling salted water for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Remove from boiling water and immediately submerge in ice water to stop cooking.
  6. Remove pods from ice water. Pat dry.
  7. Toss snap peas with enough sesame oil to lightly coat pods. Season with kosher salt to taste.
  8. Add desired amount of black sesame seeds.
