Best Marinara Sauce

Serves: 3 cups
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 whole cloves of garlic, crushed
- 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 large basil leaves
- Heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add 2 whole cloves of garlic.
- When garlic is fragrant and has light brown color (don't burn!), add crushed tomatoes, salt and basil.
- Combine ingredients and lower heat to simmer for 30 minutes. Add more salt if needed.
- Remove garlic cloves.
